maybe it is a diamond
who knows? it could be a ruby
or even a rustic sapphire
nowadays it's easier to think it's just
the sunlight reflecting on a drop of
rain on the glass of my window in
a rainy sunset, with a cup of hot,
dense chocolate and some love
in a pulsing heart.
